Carol House

Carol House - Instructor for SEAL Team Physical TrainingCarol was born and raised in Richmond where she danced with the Virginia Ballet Theatre during the school season and spent her summers water skiing, crabbing, and hunting for arrowheads on the Rappahannock River.  She has always loved outdoor fitness activities and spent a season in the French Alps skiing and another season in the Rockies as a ski instructor.   She loves adventure and has traveled and/or lived overseas on numerous occasions, including a four year stint where she operated an import business requiring her to travel extensively throughout Indonesia and Thailand.

She returned to Richmond in 2000 and was looking for yet another adventure when a friend invited her to “Bring a Friend Day” at SEAL Team PT.  She started class 42 and was instantly hooked and knew she had found her niche.  Through SEAL Team PT, she began running local 5k and 10k races and eventually completed 3 marathons, one of them being in Park City, Utah, with an elevation of 7,000 feet, adding just a little extra challenge.   She loves competing in the annual Muddy Buddy event which requires participants to run, bike, and get disgustingly muddy.  It’s the adventure, the fun, the endorphins, the dirt, the intense workouts, and the fabulous people that keep Carol coming back every day to SEAL Team.  Now she wouldn’t think about leaving Richmond, the land of Ukrops and SEAL Team PT. Life just doesn’t get any better than this!  Show up for 5:45am and 6pm classes to experience an Instructor “House of Pain” workout!
